Allow me to begin with saying that this is by far one of the most immersive Choice of Games I have played in a very long time. If thats not enough to convince you to give it a shot (whether purchasing directly or trying the online demo I digress) then read on.
If you have ever enjoyed reading the classic Choose-Your-Adventure books, playing a Bethesda game (I.e. Fallout or Skyrim), a Bioware game (Dragon Age or Mass Effect), or any general RPG style game, you will enjoy this game. Guaranteed.
On a more technical scale, the stat changes are subtle, giving this game a more realistic feeling, as in while making choices, youre really not sure what the outcome will be. There are no "train in swords craft so my fighting will increase" versus "practice casting spells" etc. type of choices. They are subtle and terribly immersive.
At the end of this first part, I felt the same way as Ive felt when finishing a grand novel/game - asking the Universe why it had to end. Why I had to mourn the loss of a loved...thing. Then I hit the replay button and continued my merry way through the classes.
This work, created with much love by its author, is well worth the $1.99. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.
